Job Summary

As a Central Water Heater Pump Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing central water heater systems, booster pumps, and related mechanical and electrical components to ensure continuous and efficient operation of hot water infrastructure across residential or commercial facilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform installation, preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and repair of central water heater systems and associated pump equipment.
• Conduct routine inspections of pumps, motors, valves, and control systems to identify faults or degradation before failures occur.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues related to water heating systems, circulation pumps, booster units, and piping networks.
• Replace worn or damaged components such as seals, bearings, filters, belts, electrical wiring, and control devices.
• Collaborate with facility engineers and maintenance personnel to optimize system performance and address service requests.
• Maintain accurate service logs, maintenance records, and report any safety or operational concerns immediately.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, manufacturer guidelines, and local regulations.
• Respond to emergency breakdowns and perform rapid corrective maintenance to minimize service downtime.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 3–5 years of experience working with pumps, HVAC systems, water heaters, or mechanical maintenance in industrial or building services environments.
• Strong understanding of mechanical systems, pump operation, hydronic circuits, and electrical control systems.
• Proven ability to read technical manuals, diagrams, and maintenance documentation.
• Experience with central water heating systems, circulation pumps, boosters, valves, and related equipment.
• Good problem-solving skills and ability to work independently under minimal supervision.
• Strong commitment to safety and adherence to workplace safety practices.
• Relevant technical diploma or certification in mechanical or industrial maintenance is preferred.
• Valid driving license and willingness to work flexible hours when needed.
